I’m Ben, a photographer based outside of Bradford, UK, working across digital photography and hand-made cyanotype processes. My cyanotypes are created using a hybrid workflow, where digital images are used to produce large acetate negatives for analogue exposure and printing. Much of my work is shaped by the landscapes I encounter while travelling by bike, bus, or train—responding to what I find, often focusing on overlooked or underrepresented details. I’m interested in how early photographic processes like the cyanotype can be used in a contemporary context, particularly in ways that are more environmentally considered than some other alternative darkroom practices.
